Bahaal is a volunteer-led project in Gujranwala that started in 2024. We repair water pumps and leaks, and install low-cost solar and biogas systems, for low-income and elderly families who would otherwise go without. Every fix starts with a phone call and a name written in a notebook. Word travels fast in a neighbourhood, so helping one family usually means the next one finds us too.
Why This Exists

I'm a sustainability engineer, and most of what I build turns waste into something a family can actually use. A pile of manure sitting in a farmer's yard, a stack of dead phones in a bazaar stall, none of that is actually worthless. It's just unused. Bahaal grew out of that idea: take what a household already has around it and make it usable, whether that's biogas from livestock waste, a small solar setup, or a pump that just needed rewinding.
What We Do
We take reports straight from the community: a widow's broken water pump, a leaking line, a kitchen with no affordable fuel, a failing electrical connection. We sort them by who needs help most and what the team can actually build or repair safely, then a small trained team goes to the home and does the work with the family.
We stay strictly inside what our team can do safely, and never take on licensed wiring or structural work that needs a professional tradesman.
